Thanks for proving my point. The Bible is up to interpretation, trying to prove it is wrong or right is like nailing jelly to a tree. How do you know that the 7 days weren't actually shorter than days now? Or maybe God likes the number 7 and wanted to use it in the Bible as much as he could...

This theory is already in existance, and is known as The Oscillating Theory, because it states that at some point all the matter in the universe will start to move towards each other, and eventually compress into a single point. This point would then explode and give birth to a new universe, congruent with the The Big Bang Theory.

Most scientists think this is very unlikely, though, because theres not enough matter, and thus not enough gravitational force, to push everything together.

Or my physics teacher could have just lied to me. Either one.

Agreed... that equation only works if you're English speaking and use the ASCII standard. And if it spells "god", which god is it? God isn't "the god"'s name, it's a generic English term for a diety. I'd be more impressed if equalled to 7.

They didn't "create" Purgatory. Thay simply payed more attention to it. Like I said, it is very much a part of the original cannon.

Also, people call foul all the time, but since this kind of objection stays in relegious circles, the mainstream press and attentions aren't to keen on reporting them. ;)

Because, devoting myself to a lie, while I know it is a lie (remember the original question was whether or not I could change my beliefs if the Bible was proven false) makes me one of the most wretched beings on the face of the Earth.
