"What does that have to do with intelligence? Let's go by SAT scores. Or grades even. Or possibly brain size"
I was joking. And I hope you are too. Test scores and grades = intelligence?
Agreed.Quote:

Right by Tony Blair.
...eew.
At least I'm glad I'm not too far in any direction. I like being somewhat moderate.

Not much has changed since I originally took this. I've gotten a little more fiscally conservative, but more socially liberal. That makes no sense, because I'm sure my religion answers were the same and all of my gay stuff was the same. The only difference I can think of socially would have made me move higher than -4.87: My "strongly disagree" at the beginning of the year about women being primarily homemakers has changed to an "agree." I don't get it.

I think the economics are a little far to the right in my standing and I know for a damn fact that I'm not less Authoritarian (Conservative I guess you could say) then I was a year ago, then again I took the test a few times then and thought about it a lot more, kind've went through it this time.
Am I really the only person here whose compass alines up w/ the libertarians?
I sucked in school because I thought it was a waste of my damned time and I also think school and college (less then required school, but does help at the same time) teach dependant and forceful learning. I never learned anything significant just because somebody told me to, I prefer to grow on my own terms (which are actually pretty high).Quote:

However I believe it doesn't take a peice of paper to suceed in this country, it is harder without it but all's it comes down to is hard work and innovation.
Why don't you go to college?
(Note, not a smart-assed question; genuine interest.)
A few reasons:Quote:

2. Grades: At current it would be very difficult for me to get into a decent college primarily because of my 11th grade GPA (1.00 about, maybe lower), my overall highschool GPA was closer to a 2.5.
3. General hatred of school: I was one of the most miserable people while being in school, I felt that my time was being wasted in the worst way, I was learning absolutely nothing other then elementary bullshit and homework (which I never did and that is what primarily contributed to my poor grades), once I get home I want my day to be my day.
4. Lack of faith in the US college system: I honestly don't think they're teaching enough or good enough for that matter. It always has something to do with a professors slant or bias and colleges are becoming progessively more Liberal in their grading process. Points for effort!? Fuck that, college is about learning your major not about effort. The Federal Government was talking about this awhile back, that students graduating from college (sometimes with a masters degree) really had no applicaple knowledge in their field.
5. And last but not least I really want to prove to myself and other people that I can live a decent and happy life (money isn't everything, especially to me, but a decent income is a neccesity) without a piece of paper that really proves nothing about my character, intelligence or inovation.
Now I may go to college in the coming years because I thought about getting my Phd in Political Science but I have strong doubts on that and that will probably never happen. That is just one area you really have no chance in without a high degree.
