Well, this is the first I've heard that a game ported to all three systems will almost always have a higher frame rate on the GC. If this is true, I've been enlightened. All else equal, I'll prolly buy the GC versions from now on since I don't really mind the controller. I'll have to play a few games on both Xbox and GC to see for myself first though.
GC also has bump mapping so it's a moot issue here. In fact, the GC has better texturing abilities overall, but I think Metroid Prime is the only game that actually takes advantage of this.Quote:

PS - The horizontal lines or 'tearing' is a result of the framerate of the game not being locked down so it'll happen on any console.
Exactly! All this does is serve as another bloody battleground for fanboys to fight their unending war for supremacy.Quote:

A couple years ago and this might have been interesting. Go play some games, you knob.
For once he actually backs himself up on this, yet he still gets shitted on? That's fucking sad. A mod should delete the idiot flames instead of moving this to fight club.
Agreed, GC RGB SCART and component is way superior to the Xbox (and to a lesser extent, PS2) equivalents. The GC image is sharp and bright whilst on Xbox it can look like someone has smeered vaseline over the screen.Quote:

Far too much time to bother with something like this.
Seems to me the color on the Xbox seems slightly grey and duller than GC and PS2. Compared to the other systems, a totally black screen seems a bit greyish and not solid black. However, I've played both the GC and Xbox versions of Soul Calibur 2, and it's not really noticable while playing it. The colors in Vice City seem not near as crisp, though.
XBox might not output perfect black so it looks better on projection TVs?Quote:
