I've heard of both pomegranates and grenadine.

Both are disgusting. I have a friend who puts grenadine in his Corona.

I drink mixed girl drinks and even I know he's a sissy. :)

I vote for haggis or (sp?)belu. The latter is something a friend told me about, from the Philippines. Some sort of uncooked duck egg...

What, and Corona's not disgusting? There's something about a beer that is widely served with lime to mask the flavor that I find a bit unsettling. But putting grenadine in it? Weird.

Of course, the free Coronas I had last weekend were better than nothing, and certainly better than the free Bud Light I had when they ran out, but still. Your friend has zero taste.

Balut! Apparently it's a cooked, fertilized duck egg. You drink the, er, broth while eating the fetal duck whole, sometimes complete with feathers. If I ever end up in the Philippines someday, I'm going to force myself to try this, even if it does smell as revolting as I'm told.
