I dunno if she said anything about being in the US illegally. She's just not a citizen.Quote:

She's not bothering to say how or why she's in this country, despite being asked several times.Quote:

I was born there in 1972, in 1976 he came to Los Angeles to play Soccer. Not a highly skilled profession or anything, but it did allow him to get a Green Card and work here.
We moved over here 6 months later, in 1977, and each got Green Cards.
I was the first to go and get my citizenship done, not an easy task, but it was worth it. My mother and sister also got theirs done, and I have a brother (same father/american mother) as well.
My dad's never got his citizenship done, dunno why, he just keeps renewing his Green Card.
so far Im siding with V.H.
If I have to feed my kids and its easier to do so somewhere else, I will do so.
I think that if Imigration would give me a chance to do it properly I should jump at it.
But the problem is that the system is having people wait too damn long to do it the right way. Meanwhile the kids die of malnutrition or somethin and Im probably a skeliton. The system is screwing people over. They should allow decent law abiding people the chance to make it in America legaly.
Its what this country was built on.
P.S. anyone that disagrees with me automaticaly looses on account of not agreeing with the best person in the univese.
Go ahead, she's probably getting lonely.Quote:

What exactly did you have to do to become a citizen, Matt?
Legal immigration. Sure. Great. US built on it.
Accepting illegal behavior and rewarding it. Fuck off.
Accepting it? Naw. Rewarding it? No way.Quote:

Anyone who wants to be here should do it the right way. Problem is, the system sucks apparently. People shouldnt have to sneak in by clinging to the bottom of a plane with only duct tape and a prayer to hold you up. They should do it the right way. But I shouldnt have to become a senior citizen to become a citizen.
We do reward it.
You run across the border, have a child here, it's a US Citizen.
I could take a woman I knocked up on vacation to Tokyo, that doesn't mean the kid would be a Japanese citizen if it was born there.
It does take a while to do it, but that's due to the massive amount of applicants. We can only take so much.
You can get a green card almost right away, I believe, which secures you pretty much the same rights as a full-fledged citizen. Next.Quote:
