Who would win in a fight?
Todays Toastmasters meeting was great. I helped my father yesterday come up with some table topics questions (questions relating to the theme of the day that must be answered completely - a short speech in under a minute) about Martin Luther King Jr. since his birthday is coming up and this was our theme.
One of our members came up with a great answer to this question: "What would MLK think of the war in Iraq?" John said, "I'm not sure what he would think of the war . . . he might be against it as a Christian, but I loved that he was against racism. ALL racism, including Affirmative Action. He believed that a man should be judged by his charachter, not by the color of his skin."
Great answer! Anyway, another question was, "Who would win a Toastmasters (speechmaking) contest. Ghandi or MLK?" so I adapted it for the forum and made a poll.
