It does to me 99% of the time, because i'm a completist for everything.Quote:

Long story short, the manual was cut in half to fit in the jewel case, but I was getting a game that goes for 45 bucks on Ebay for free, so I just said fuck it, I can always print out a new manual and case anyways.
hm...I bought Jet Set Radio Future for 10 w/o a book about a year ago. I thought it was fine.
As long as it isn't a genre that begs for it, I can deal without instructions. Most games these days have in-game tutorials anyway.
Yeah, basically the same here, I almost always want box and docs with whatever I buy.Quote:

For most cart-based systems, I don't care about boxes, manuals, etc. for storage reasons. For disc-based ones though, yeah, I prefer getting a game complete.
i just plain don't care about it at all. I'm buying it to play the game, not ogle the manual and box. Sure, its nice to have it complete, but it doesn't matter.
It depends on the rarity. I bought Chrono Trigger (SNES) with the box and no manual. But I did get the official gaming guide with the deal, so the manual was no big deal. I paid under $40 for the game.
I actually have PSX games that don't have the manuals or jewel cases. Some dumbass ripped off my game cases and left the CD holder that had all the games. I've actually taken the time and money, to replace those games anyways, because I like my games in complete condition.
I got DMC2 as a used title and found the manual to be missing from the case, but if I didn't see the moves listed in game, I would have been quite pissed.
I have to have everything. It doesn't even occur me to buy a game unless it's complete. Even if it's rare, even if I'm getting it for free, I'd rather not even have it if it isn't complete.
Same here.Quote:
