As my Business Law teacher just said earlier this week, "basically he wants money because he isn't gettin' any." He also said that it's a standard part of nearly every civil lawsuit like this.Quote:

Bah. Everyone's so quick to judge. That is a lot of heavy items in one bag. If she was elderly or something she really could have broke a bone and been pretty seriously injured.
Not saying she's right, she probably can't prove anything, and $30,000 is ridiculous, but it's not always so black and white. For many people who live from paycheck to paycheck, sudden medical costs can be disasterous.
my good man, i was in 2 of those annual competitions when i was a bagger during college. when you aint in the ivory towers in law school you have to pay the bills ya know, so none of this bagger mocking ;) (for the record, i had the fastest tiem both times, but i kept getting nailed becasue i would make on bag heavier than the other..curse you, curse you all)Quote:

It's like the difference between eating and competitive eating.
hmmm..competitive eating, theres a sport i could pull off, i agree it sounds funny, hence the smiley, i am just feeling contentious, plus i really have missed incorrectly spelling the word because, so i had a mission clearly to defend the good name of baggers everywhere.
These people are going to get anally destroyed when their lawyer goon has to tangle head-to-head with Wal-Mart's bloodthirsty platoon of vicious, soulless attorneys.
If those people are lucky the judge will throw this out of court, because if it does go to trial it only means Wal-Mart will keep it in bureaucratic limbo for literally decades.
That or the only place to shop with out driving a hour. Jackass.Quote:
