I'll second that. Edwards has been giving the same answer for months now, and I believe him. He's got my vote. I'd go for a Kerry/Edwards ticket in a heart beat, but I'm throwing my support behind Edwards first. I disagree with him on certain issues, but I truly believe he'd be the breath of fresh air the country needs. I can see his SOTU addresses becoming more like the fire side chats of old. The last time I really cared about a SOTU was in Reagan's days.
I also believe he can beat Bush. He's got the looks, the attitude, the message. If the Bush camp/Republicans try to make him out to be an ambulance chaser, he'll be able to point to the cases he fought for, and show his record. The only complaints I've heard about him are from Jesse Helms supporters, and people who aren't happy he's spent more time in Washington and other states than he has in North Carolina (a valid complaint).

No matter what happens, I think it's going to be an interesting year though.

Edwards: A likeable enough guy and he presents well. But, a trial lawyer in the White House? I find that amusing. Whatever...he won't win the nomination. He won't be anywhere on the ticket. BUT, I think we'll be seeing a lot more of him in the future.

Lieberman: I generally respect him. A decent human being. Whatever...he won't win the nomination. He won't be anywhere on the ticket. You'll continue to see him mentioned in videogame articles.

Dean: Who? (All but his wild yelp will be forgotten in short order.)

Clark: Seriously. What in the world do people see in this guy? He has NOTHING to say, and he is utterly unelectable. His campaign is a farce, and he is the least legitimate Democratic candiate out there.

Kerry: I think he was elected the year I started college in Mass. ('84). I wasn't impressed, but then again, the Mass. economy was in the toilet at the time and state politics wasn't really on my radar. I haven't heard the specifics of any of his planks, aside from the nebulous "95% of Americans will get tax relief" or something like that --meaning, I won't get any tax relief. I suppose people who hate Bush will vote for him. But, short of a rogue nuclear warhead being detonated in Iraq, I don't believe he or his hair will win.

Where!? He's a one-term senator who has opted to leave if he doesn't win the presidential nomination. He's not a career politician.

Actually, I liked it as well. The Republicans, his opponents, and even the press went way overboard with it.

Hehe. Have you been listening to Howard Stern in the morning? 97.1FM? They do all sorts of cool things with the whole speech, not just the yell. This morning they played a prank call someone made to an airport and a confused booking agent. :)
