Smoking

This thread excludes weed, cocaine, whatever...only ciggarettes and cigars.

I usually stick to Camel Lights but I think that Newports arn't too bad.

In terms of cigars I usually smoke Phillies Blunts, chocolate cherry is one of the better flavors. I like the Phillies Cigarellos too, the honey flavored ones are a real good smoke. My dad got me a bunch of high quality cigars for Christmas including two Cubans. The Cubans were a real smooth smoke and were pretty good although I like my cigars to have some sweetness to them.


Edit: Pipes too:P Basically no drugs, tobbaco products I guess is good enough.

I've tried it all and I'm not a fan. I'll stick with pot on a very non-frequent basis.

I used to smoke Kamel Reds, then Luckies when I couldn't find those anymore.

I quit in November and I haven't smoked a single cigarette since then. Don't know how long this'll last for.

I used to smoke American Spirit cigarettes... but I quit smoking years ago.

Now I smoke maybe 1-2 cigars a year and that's about it.

I can't, pretty much everything gives me cancer :(

which is a shame as it gives you something to do, and makes you cool at the same time. I guess I'll stick to dicks and lollipops.

I smoke Macarther's Blend tobacco in my pipe whenever I use it. I haven't smoked in months, but it's great stuff.

They were my favorites, and they stopped selling them in PA where I lived. I thought they were gone for good, so I started smoking Luckies, unfiltered. Good cigarettes, but when I moved to Boston I switched over to filters for the most part. And then, when I decided to put real effort into quitting... I found out they sell Kamel Reds here.

I usually smoke Marlboro Menthol, Salem Black Label is alright as are Camel Dark Mint (though the dark chocolate aroma is nicest of all). I don't smoke cigars usually but I do have a long stemed pipe (exactly like the one Aragorn and Galndalf had in the LOTR films) and I smoke a central american tabbaco with a dark cherry flavor to it. Since I ordered a pound of it more than a year ago I'm not sure if I'll ever run out. The pipe is usually for occasions of special magnifisence.

I worked this extremely long, arduous day at work awhile back. At the end of the day I *had* to have a cigarette but I don't really keep any on me (mostly use them when drinking). So I bummed one from a co-worker. Get out to my car, light up, take a loooooong pull and...HOLY CRAP OF ALL THAT IS HOLY!

Menthol. *shudder*

If I wanted something of a quasi-mint nature I'd grab a Tic-Tac. ;)

im not really a smoker though. the only time i ever smoke now is when drinking, after sex, or after a huge meal. even then though, the only time im guarenteed to smoke is when drinking. but yeah, Parliaments are my cigs of choice.

Cigars. My staple is the Rare Corojo made by Punch (a GREAT cigar by any standard), and I mix it up with some decent Cubans every now and then.

Wusses. I grind up dirt and smoke it. Like a real man.

I don't smoke, I quit years ago. When I did, I smoked Marlbaro lights and reds, Parliment Lights, and occasionally Salem lights when I was in a menthol mood. The first cigarette I ever smoked was a brand called Barclay, my friend's mom smoked them and he stole a pack from her.

A few friends tried to get me into cigars in the past, and they're alright, but I'm not a huge fan of them and I haven't smoked one since late summer. I'm not against smoking them on occasions like graduation parties or something like that, but I'm not going to go out and buy them myself. I don't smoke ciggarettes unless bidis count. The only thing I smoke regularly (about twice a month) is pot.

I first smoked Kamel Reds as my main cigarette once I was old enough to buy 'em. Then I found the greatness of the Camel Wide Filter - I've been smoking those for about 4-5 years now.

Since I live in South Florida it wouldn't be any hassle at all to get my hands on Cuban cigars on a regular basis, but I've never really been too fond of them. It's a bit too heavy of a smoke for me, as I inhale cigars (I know you're not supposed to). If I was going to smoke a cigar, I'd go down to the Little Havana district in Miami and just get some made for me. They'll make them to order any way you want them (Flavored, straight, heavy, thinner, etc). I only smoke like 2 a year though. :/

I smoke an occassional cigar but have never had a cigarette. In my late teens I used to grab Swisher Sweets, but my tastes have grown more, uh, expensive.

I really like Chai flavored cigars though. Very nice. Id smoke cigars much more if it wasnt for the price.

I'm poor, so I smoke Swisher Sweets on occasion.

I don't much care for cigarettes, but if I'm stressed or something I'm apt to bum one off ya.

edit--if you like Perfect Blue, you might want to try Millennium Actress. It's directed and written by the same guys, and it's a cool little bit of storytelling. Not nearly as psychologically driven as Perfect Blue, but I enjoyed it just as much.

You're not even kidding.. during the Fall when it was really pleasant outside, I'd go out on my apt. balcony and have one after work. The onset of winter killed that habit real quick.

The only thing I really love to smoke is cigars. Not that I get much oppotunity to do so since my budget and the weather are not accomedating.

I like C.A.O., La Gloria Cubana, and Padrons, as far as cigars. I've been meaning to buy a humidor and a box of C.A.O.s, something I'll probably do soon.

I could feel myself getting addicted to cigarettes the first time I bought a packet of them, so I threw them out.

As for smoking in general, I generally only smoke cigarrettes when I'm already messed up somehow. I love cigars, but mostly when I drink.

I dont smoke. I used to have a cig or two when I was drunk and chilling with my nicotine-addict friends, but I read an article that said that sort of casual smoking leads to addiction more often than not. And, well, one of my friends pulled a cig out of my mouth one day and told me, flat out, that I was stupid for doing that and that's how he got started and he doesnt wanna see me get addicted.

That's what a true friend is, I say.

I started socially and quit socially. My friends all smoked and I sorta picked it up.

Started with Camel Lights, got into the 100s of the same, switched to Djarum Blacks to "look cool", got tired of spending so much dough and tried Malboro because my new roomates smoked 'em.

A year or so after I started a few of us decided to quit. I only smoked a pack a week or so but ithe addiction really kicked my ass.

I only smoke cigars with my buddy who does. And that's occasionally and I have no idea what they are.

So there :p

Any idea where I can find a pipe like that and that kind of tobacco? I haven't found anything I like yet to sub for my old oral fixation and that sounds really good.
