Mister Mosquito

I have been playing this game quite a bit lately and I must say I really enjoy it. The controls take getting used to, and the graphics aren't the best the PS2 has to offer but I really like it. They do a good job of giving you a sense of scale; it really seems as if you are a little mosquito buzzing around the house. I heard there was a sequel already out to this game in Japan. Has anybody played the import of it? I believe it goes by the name Ka there.

i think i played the demo (of mr. mosquito), but didn't exactly find something i could play for more than a couple of minutes without falling asleep..

i was pretty suprised they localized the first one.. obviously no chance of getting the sequel here.

Even though I know it was designed a light-hearted title, the game was a little to simplistic for my taste. Hopefully the sequel expands on the original.

That pretty much sums it up. It was never for rent around my area either so I never played it until it hit the $9.99 bargain bin. Actually pretty fun but it's not really replayable past the first time...

I couldn't get into it. I usually gravitate to quirky, humor-oriented games like this, but I just couldn't get into it. It involverd way too much sitting and waiting.

MGS is ok (more than ok, actually). Splinter Cell put me to sleep.

I liked the demo of Mister Mosquito but not enough to pay much for it. It's a neat idea for a game though.

I'd chalk it up more to the fact that it's not that great of a game, appeals to only the most niche gamer or people looking for stuff thats bizarre and original. To top it off they were hocking it at $50 when even $30 would have been a very very questionable purchase and scared off most everyone, so why release another bomb. But you already knew that.
