In response to that Robert Byrd quote in the beginning of that Flash movie:

I believe that we should have people representing the United States of America who are not huge fucking racists who say the word nigger on the floor of the Senate and get away with it.

And also I wanted to READ the official statements on Bush's military conduct, but it didnt give me any time to, instead opting for those damning summaries right above it (which, of course, were absolutely no problem to read).

And for fuck's sake, show me some damn sources. It's great to put up pictures of mangled babies but show me the sources and show me that they are indeed from Iraq.

This is sensationalist bullshit designed to shock instead of inform, just like anti-abortion crazies who put up huge pictures of babies all fucked up from abortion.

That's something I will definitely agree with. Now, I am in no way in support of abortion - it's a subject that doesn't warrant a discussion at the moment, so just work with me for now. However, it still sickens me to see people on my side of the issue know so LITTLE about the issue itself. Whether by religion, peer pressure, or family tradition, I have the suspicion that many people don't know half of what they should on any particular agenda for them to have their opinions count.

This inevitably leads to the instance in which I will tell someone that I am against abortion, and they automatically assume I'm some extreme Catholic pope-sucker who hands out bookmarks with pictures of dead babies on them.
