Everyone kind of rolled over for that, though, Democrats and Republicans combined. Lieberman did a fine job at the debate tonight, I think.
I don't think Dean made any progress towards repairing his reputation - ah, it's great to see him crash and burn.
It's odd, since his policies used to be pretty good - he is basically a moderate. What I dislike about him is his choice of constituency - he geared his campaign to appeal to the worst elements of the Democratic party. I thought he had a lot of potential coming in, although he's revealed himself to be a pretty nasty person as the months have passed. He needs to listen to different political scientists, though.
I'm interested to see how the trial lawyer thing works for Edwards. I think it could sort of be like a bomb wrapped up in a box-with-a-ribbon on it for the Republicans - Edwards is a nice guy, he's appealing, and I think if he stays relatively positive and lets other people do the dirty work, attacks on Edwards' history by the Republicans could backfire on Bush.
This stuff is great, though, this primary season. Combined with the Patriots in the fucking Super Bowl, three different New Englanders competing in the primary, it's been a good few weeks.
Does anyone know where I could get some of those Dean yell remixes?
edit: Here's one. Made on GarageBand w00t!
I think there is one thing the Republicans could do that would absolutely end the 2004 election - kick Cheney to the curb and enlist Condi Rice as the VP.
It'd be like delivering the touch-of-death, the quivering palm, to the Democrats. Within 1 to 24 hours, they'd have a stroke.
Bush-Condi would suck up moderate voters, but more than that, it would force so many voters to stay home - minorities, women - anyone simultaneously drawn to both candidates. So much nonvoting. It'd give a lot of ABB voters heart attacks. The racist wing of the Republicans is already pissed off with Bush as is - I don't think Condi as VP could do anything more.
Bush deserves to lose the election, but he deserves to lose the election even more if he keeps Cheney as the #2.
I really don't think it would have that big of an effect.Quote:

Woah. Did I read that right, Stone? Coming from you, I'm a little worried.Quote:

diffusion: I don't have any remixes, but here's the scream:
AIFF Form
WAVE Form
Makes a great error noise. :)
You're welcome, but you need to ease up a bit, man. You got any weed or something? Some painkillers? I really only had the quotes because I thought they were funny.Quote:

Hehe. As long as you're not seeing five sausages or something. ;)
What the hell is with the Sausage-in-Training thing? I've been seeing it all around TNL.
