There are three people in the annals of human history who, despite their contributions or evil deeds, are constantly used in all forms of comedy: stand up, movies, variety shows, sketch comedy, cartoons, etc.
I've been thinking (for, like, 5 mins) about what makes them so funny; this is what I came up with (in no particular order):
1) Adolf Hitler - after all the shit he pulled, no one deserves to be made fun of more than he, and the comedians of the world don't disappoint. Killing virtual nazis and making fun of Hitler will never go out of style.
2) Abraham Lincoln - I think it's just the whole look: the top hat, the suit, the beard. Maybe it's the contrast of placing a man as dignified as he was in absurd situations... I really don't know. I hear his name and I laugh.
3) Jesus Christ - yeah, there may be moral implications in making fun of a large chunk of the population's deity incarnate, but that doesn't seem to stop anyone. He's the biggest square in recorded history, and a perfect straight man for any gag.
So yeah, those are the three. I can list hundreds of examples off the top of my head, and I hope you can, too, because that's what I want this thread to be about: funny Abraham Lincoln, Hitler, or Jesus jokes/stories/situatons/etc.
