Well, I do enjoy most of them to be honest, otherwise I wouldn't keep playing them. I just think the stories are massively overrated by people who want them to be more than cheesy, cartoony fluff with over the top melodrama and ridiculous villains.

There's this FFVI ROM I picked up somewhere that is a JP copy of the game with a fan translation. It's a much more honest translation with none of the NOA rape that we saw with FFIV and to a lesser degree FF3(VI)

Considering the FF anime that came out last year sucked penis, I have a feeling this one might not be any better. Then again, this one is based off VII which has one of the better FF stories while the anime that came out last year was based off some retards genious idea of summons coming out of guns.
