I'm not 100% sure but then again I'm not the writer with months on my hands to write the story but some things

well for one how about an explination on why you end the game and begin the movie 500 years in the future and theres no humans there

how about some characterzation other than cloud not having the "will" to fight and then having it again

I'm sure if I gave the game a play through again (its been years since I last did) I could think of some more as I remember there being alot of unanswered questions that something like this could have answered instead of it being a losely connected string of matrix/dragonball Z style fight scenes

I just though the plot and overall story of the movie was lame



Sephiroth Larva = Lame
Marlene, Barettes Daughter being asian, and Barette not seeming to give 2 shits about her = Lame
the Turks going from being dead and gone to being alive and hey were ok = Lame
Turning Cloud into another Squall (ZOMG my feelings are too deep, and hurting I can't go on, angst angst angst) = Lame



and WTF is up with Denzil how the hell can he be Tifa's son which they made some reference about in the movie when she had no kid in the game and this takes place 2 years later

I just found the movie and the story to it boring, *shrug* it felt way to forced to be that long, just really pulled at both ends

Denzel is not Tifa's son or anything, he's just among the orphans that Tifa and Cloud adopted after Midgar ate it. Marlene happened to make friends with him, I'd wager.

Yes, that was Marlene. And she couldn't give birth to a full grown child in under 2 years.

I don't think Marlene was Barret's kid either. She's most likely an orphan too.

The movie was fucking amazing, and I don't really like FFVII all that much.

You have to keep in mind that there is a lot of calling people "mother," "father," "brother," etc. in Japan when there isn't that relation there. Calling somebody who takes care of you "older brother" or "older sister" is very common. So, just because Denzel may have called Tifa "mother," that doesn't mean a thing.

I just figured he was another orphan, it's sort of a logical and easy explanation.

Didn't Kadaj or Loz ask Tifa (or Cloud?) that they were 'living with the orphans' or something?
