Wow. Just wow.
Say what you want about Onimusha series, but the quality of CGI work, that Capcom made for those games is amazing, and team Robot is now reaches the new height.

Onimusha 2 was a good game, and with more improvements in Oni 3(like real time environments, and Jean Reno as playable character, its one of my most anticipated games this year.
That was awesome. Looking forward to this one, I've gotta go back and replay the first two before this hits.
Loved the 1st Oni, didn't care for the 2nd. I refuse to watch the intro since I plan on buying 3 the day it comes out. 3 sounds really good. I've read a lot about how refined it will be for the US and the production quality is really high. They also said something about it pushes the PS2 to it's graphical limits. Let's hope this is a great send off to a good series.
That wasn't a trailer! That was better than 98% of most game endings. But that was the damn intro. There was some fantastic choreography up in that bitch. I played through about half of the 2nd and this one looks like it's shaping up pretty damn well. When's it due?
Nice. I recall reading Donnie Yen is doing the fighting choreography in this game. Should be sweet.

That was awesome! ...Almost makes me want to play the game. Not sure why, but this series has always looked like something I wouldn't care about so I've never played any of the games. Maybe the next time I see Onimusha for $5 I'll pick it up.
That intro was badass, they should just make a whole movie. I'd buy it in a second.

I personally love the Onimusha Games... they are some of the finest titles in the ps2s library. But after seeing that I just want the thrid one even more... because without a doubt that intro is better than either of the other two games endings... and the endings are always better than the intro's...
I got Genma Onimusha on the cheap (8 bucks new at Target) and it was great--even with the RE style controls. I also played Oni 2 a lot (got all the alternate paths and befirended all the sub chars). Overall I like dthe first better but enjoyed the enhancements of the 2nd. It's supposedly the last regular Onimusha game. This and Buraiden should keep me happy.
Yeah, I saw this a few days ago, fucking incredible. I didn't care for Onimusha 1 all that much, and didn't play 2, but I've been keeping close tabs on Oni 3 for a while, it just looks and sounds absolutely amazing, and the game's new environment and setting is much more interesting than the first two's to me.
Whoa I can't wait to play this. I have enjoyed both 1 and 2.

Wow, I just watched the opening movie...wow. Not only is the rendering amazing, but the action is awesome. Everything is so well directed. Man, I can't wait for this game.
That dude Samanosuke is fighting looks just like Nelo Angelo from Devil May Cry. I knew when Samanosuke started sucking up all those souls at the end he was gonna seriously kick arse. :)
Hmm....Onimusha 2 is still sitting on my pile 'o shame...guess I should warm up with it.
Hey, Despair, isn't the guy playing Samanosuke the same guy that was in that movie Returner? I have to check that flick out sometime...
Wow... That was the best few minutes of game CGI. Holy crap.
I played the first and toyed around with the second on a rental, but now I really, really want to get 3. That looked amazing.

Holy fookin wow. That was damn good. Add a couple of minutes, release it as a short film, and give that puppy an award!
Team Robot is well known for winning 1st place awards for their CGI work(they did that with Oni 1, but not sure if 2 was the case), and I would love them to do a full lenght feature film, with the theme of Onimusha universe/setting.
I would buy that in the instant. :p
Its pretty cool action/scifi popcorn flick. Dont expect too much originality, or Oscar calibur action, and just enjoy the show. I liked it quite a bit, and posted my review in Cinema section a while back.Quote:

Robot doesn't belong to Capcom, they're a seperate company which does work in films such as Ping Pong.
