Sexiest Videogame Damsels in Distress

While digging for old Daily Radar articles through web.archive.org, I've discovered an interesting piece called "the 10 Sexiest Videogame Damsels in Distress" by Scott DeVaney. I thought that since most of us here are male and are constantly attracted to fictional characters, I might as well post the list here and read your opinions. Personally, while agreed with most of the choices in the list, I'm surprised they left out Leila Blitz from Rolling Thunder, the Cavebabes from Joe & Mac and Sylvia from Kung-Fu Master. :sweat:

The list was:
10. Little Mabel from Beauty & the Beast (Intellivision game)
09. Princess Peach Toadstool from the Super Mario series.
08. The Sultan's Daughter from Prince of Persia.
07. The Babe from Jungle Hunt/King.
06. Marian Kelly from the Double Dragon series.
05. Princess Mariko from Karateka
04. Princess Prin Prin from the Ghosts 'n Goblins series.
03. Pauline from Donkey Kong.
02. Jessica from Final Fight
01. Princess Daphne from Dragon's Lair.

I haven't given it a lot of thought, but my initial vote would be for "Laura" from D (and D2). Why, you ask? Because she didn't talk. I find that sexy.

Laura was quite saucy actually, but she wasn't really a damsel in distress.

Princess Peach and Daphne, full-on agree. (And the new Dragon's Lair looks kick-ass.)

How about the grown-up Zelda (in ZOoT), she's much better looking then some of that list. Hmm... I'm actually having trouble thinking of some, despite how much of a cliche that is.

Don't forget the chixors in Maximo!

Princess Zelda (in all her incarnations) was much hotter than Little Mabel or even Mariko. I kinda liked the red-haired incarnation from Zelda II and she was very cute in Shotaro Ishimori's Zelda manga published in Nintendo Power.

Tina from the Adventure Island series was hot too, considering she was drawn by Maximo-guy Susumu Matsushita.

Indeed, Leila Blitz is one of my favorites. Interesting how, in nearly every scene Leila appears, she's in various insinuated positions of assault.

But my Number One Desert Island damsel in distress would have to be Artemis of Phelios fame.

She doesn't sound very familiar to me.

My vote would go to Irene from the Ninja Gaiden series.

Would the strippers in Duke Nukem be considered damsels in distress?

She's from Rolling Thunder. She may also be the girl in the other Rolling Thunders (I'm not very familiar with the series as a whole unfortunately).
