I just saw the newest Troy preview on the Superbowl and I was wondering if anyone could fill me in on it. I heard it might be a trilogy.
What's it based off of? It looks like the next big epic.
I don't know hardly anything except that the cast is stacked.
I hope it turns out good (I have a lot of faith in it now)

I'm hoping they follow this up with a movie based on the Odyssey. With all of today's kickass CG they could make it truly awesome.

I thought the Iliad was required reading in highschool. Anyways, I am a big Hector fan--I mean I respect anybody who is gonna go up against someone who is nigh invulnerable. He was always the tragic underdog. Eric Bana is supposed to be playing Hector and after the Hulk I'm not too jazzed about him in that part.
Yeah, that's the movie with Brad Pitt, right? Who's he supposed to be playing? When I think of Homer's "wild-haired" Greek warriors, Brad Pitt, strangely enough, does not come to mind.

This movie looks quite interesting. It has the same type of cinematography as Gladiator :), which is very good in my book.
