A local Asian restaurant had a Chinese New Year's festival that I had gone to on the 26th. The buffet had sushi (mostly California rolls), shrimp toast, teriyaki, and spring rolls (these things totally own egg rolls) for appetizers. Several dinners including General Tso's chicken and a seafood vegetable combination were also on the table.
The CNY show was a blast- a martial arts studio held kung-fu and weapons demos- and yes, the dragons came out. Damn cool if you ask me.
What's the big deal with General Tso's Chicken? Is it really that good?
In a word, yes. And Szechuan Hot and Sour Soup owns my soul.
Just make sure you get it spicy for the full "bam!". Don't order it mild.Quote:

good lord.....you need more choices. your average china take out place will run circles around that panda shit.
nei lo mo
I have no idea how to pronounce it or spell it, but chow-kwai-tau (or something. I just point at the board) shits on all.
