If some don't do this with EVERY SINGLE CONVERSATION (and some certainly don't), then I certainly think it does.
"KOTOR has better character development and writing."
And about the same amount of gameplay.
If a story wasn't important, just make a crap game with no storyline where you battle random creatures, getting stronger and stronger forever.Quote:

True. Storyline isn't important to me as much as other people though. I think good gameplay stands on its own, but a storyline doesn't. Maybe that's what puts me off of KoTOR (and it's obviously just my HO). I'll admit that there are very slick things about the game (the battles certainly look cooler than NWN's).
I probably could but those invisible wall bugs screw me over. :DQuote:

The monk is insanely weak for the first two thirds of BG2 if you're playing a full party (the game isn't meant to be soloed anyway). He doesn't get powerful until level 15 or so. So it kinda balances out.Quote:

What about the thief's "use any item" ability.
Uh, don't abuse the bugs then. No one's forcing you to put the black dragon armor on your Shapeshifter. KotOR's bugs are far more annoying, at least on Xbox, because there's no patch and they cause shit like crashing.Quote:
Then there is the bugs that never got fixed like the druid being able to wear the black dragon armor while in the Greater werewolf form.
How many enemies actually use imprisonment? Not many. And there's Protection from Magic, too.Quote:
What about the instant kill spell(that sends your characters to another dimension or something) that you need to have a mage that can cast level 9 spells to get characters back or you can never ecover that character?
It seems like most of your problems are with high level BG2, especially Throne of Bhaal. I don't see how this makes all of Bioware's games heavily flawed.
Then it's settled. You should play KOTOR.Quote:
