Itunes...for windows
Yeah, in case you never heard of it there is this nifty little program that is called mytunes that allows you to download songs from your network. Somebody finally got on my little network that has awesome music, and I would love to download some it...only it doesnt work on the newest version.
Too bad I cant find an old version anywhere. Does anybody have an idea how I can install the 4.0 or whatever version? Or do they have the install file?

To my knowledge, myTunes doesn't break Apple's DRM. So if you're trying to download someone's purchased music or AAC files, it probably won't work. I think it only works with MP3's. I could be wrong, though.

Well...Im only going by what I read on some random site.
The thing is...I cant even get the thing to run. It installs fine, but when I start it up it gives me an error and closes the thing.
Maybe an older version isnt what I need.

It might be something that Apple already patched in the most recent Windows iTunes. If that's the case, good luck locating an earlier version. All the Windows installers are named "iTunesInstall.exe". Hehe. :)

yeah...exactly my problem.
Im thinking it might just be my computer though.

Have you tried uninstalling iTunes and myTunes and then reinstalling them both?
-
-
Wait. Why don't you just ask whoever is on the network to share his music folder?
-
Very possible...just have to figure out who he is.
