Canada can't even get a team to the Stanley Cup Finals. That pretty much eliminates any chance of a current event happening up there. :p

Well, we have a new Prime Minister who wasn't actually elected to that position, and now his government is coming under fire for the mismanagement of money that his predecessor allowed.
We also have a mega popular sports commentator who has been put on a 7 second delay by his employer for making not so subtle racist comments, but who really cant get fired because he is the reason many people watch that sport these days.
Cities are demanding a new deal from the federal goverment because they have gotten shafted in the past 10 years due to politicians passing the buck to pay off deficits and look fiscally responsible.
There hows that?
