It'll definitely run better if you upgrade your old ass radeon to a GeForce FX 5200 and no you don't need to get more ram. Your substance abuse habit is safe. :lol:Quote:

That will fix your problems. My previous setup was an Athlon 1.4 Ghz/512MB ram and it ran UT2004 fine with that card.
That's a little overkill for his current setup. Besides, new videocards are coming in like a month. No point in spend that much money when the price will go down soon anyways. Also, he must support his booze and drug habit. :DQuote:

I really dont play videogames anymore, anyway, so I $181 for UT2K4 is ridiculous.

What do the lamers say here? Oh yeah--I believe this news. Admittedly, I liked the last level in Halo the best ;p
Halo vehicle control wouldn't work for the Goliath or Scorpian.
I think it'd work pretty well for the Scorpion. Mainly it's just a matter of familiarity, though; I'm sure I'll adapt soon enough. But it would be especially nice to have for the Hellbender and Raptor. The latter could just have a 'hover' mode for strict vertical adjustment.
Edit: any theories on why my key config is not saving?
A good chunk of the processing in games like UT2004 is relying on the graphics card. The CPU could be crap, but a good graphics card can go a long way to improving things.Quote:

But I do agree on the price drop thing.
Yea, when I first played I was not used to these controls, and thought about Halo. It ends out working great though. If you press CTRL (croutch) you will do a 180 spin with the Hellbender or Scorpian.Quote:

Yeah, at first I was really wishing for a Halo-style setup for the vehicles too, but after a little getting used to, I really appreciate the seperate control for movement and camera. Half the time when I'm using the vehicles now, I'm looking in a completely different direction than I am traveling. Makes pancaking all of you fools with the Manta much more efficient.
Though I do think the camera direction actually does partially control the Manta.
How do you change your altitude in the flying ship?
C or Ctrl lowers altitude, spacebar increases.
anyone on now?
I would be if my desktop would stop powering off on me... blarg.
I think I'll be purchasing this, my old SOF2 team is having a blast playing this, so we'll get competitive for this too. 5v5 Onslaught tourney next week to look forward too.
Manta rules btw, I love holding down the right mouse button and mowing fuckers down.
Has anyone had problems seeing my server in the server browser? And what about in Halo PC (for the few here who play it)?
no. there's just no one in it.
Anyone game? Me and JohnPV are jumping on Lhadatt's server now, let's get some games going, bitches!
Yay crashing. YOU MADE ME NOT WANT TO PLAY ANYMORE ;_;
