Invasion's fun, but it lags the server something fierce at 16 people. All those monsters don't play well with it.
This is the truth.
Has anyone found that sometimes the tops of the Goliaths, link gun stream, or turret fire won't show? Turret fire is the biggest thing for me, I hardly ever see it and it is a bit annoying.

Translocator whores piss me off.
No more translocator in any gametype on my server. If you object... tough cookies.

My nephew bought ut2k4, so I was over at my sisters giving it a run-through. Got a bit into a campaign, pretty neat (although I'm a solo-type of guy, not really into the team dm stuff). The forest map is pretty kickass too... nothing beats launching a rocket to have it impact on a walkway next to somebody with no life and watching their body drift down from the heavens. :chick:
