Lawful Good characters are the epitome of all that is just and good. They believe in order and governments that work for the benefit of all, and generally do not mind doing direct work to further their beliefs.

I don't think it's bad or anything, or for uberdorks that are any worse than I am.

I just have a few standing orders and reciprocal rules with my brother, which are:

1) I get in an accident and turn veggie, end it.
2) I get in a coma and they have to cut off my legs to live, kill me.
3) I get crippled, bring me a gun.
4) I run off and you find me playing D&D, hit me in the face until I come back to reality.

Those rules bar me from D&D, though, not posting in D&D threads, oddly enough.

I marry some slut and she kills me and makes it look like a suicide, the surviving brother must kill her. This also applies to terrorist acts, so if I get blown up on a plane my brother will go and kill someone, hopefully someone involved with it but you take that chance with my brother.

Your brother sounds like a crazy dude. I certainly wouldn't mess with him.

What's funny about us RPG dorks is that we even hate members of our own group. Pen and paper people hate LARPers, and I call LARPers fags and butt pirates every chance I get. I'm sure they think that our lack of costumes and fake weapons makes us stupid, too. Hehe.

He appears as a gaunt, naked, scimitar-wielding man, or as a black cloud with glowing green eyes. His followers are working to strengthen his position in the world by converting (often by force) other deities' worshippers. They wear black robes with dark green trim, and wear black iron gauntlets with green eyes on the backs. Iyachtu Xvim's symbol is a black hand, inset with green eyes.

edit, one thing i found funny, in the question of who you want associated with, they listed preists with lawyers, that led me to a bit of a conflict, since i see lawyers as the moral antithisis of priests, so i would want to be associated with priests/rabbis/ministers, but NOT laywers, who i see as materialistic and manipulative. just a personal thing.

The neutral good part is pretty close but I still think I'm more Lawful/Good, Order being very, very important to me. And I don't think I'd subvert the Law to 'do good' since I tend to believe that part of 'doing good' is submitting to authority.

When did TNL become so politically correct?

If "uncle tom" flies under the radar, then what's wrong with "fag"? He's not attacking anyone in particular. He's not even attacking a public figure who represents a certain set of beliefs.

I have been an admin here since late 2001/early 2002 and it has always been my policy that "fag" is considered on the same level as "nigger" and similar epithets. This hardly a recent thing. Whether it has been enforced effectively or not, that is the rule and it has been mentioned explicitly for the benefit of those that don't see it as common sense. Any failure has been in enforcement and not in the spirit of the rule.

I was taking arjue to task for his post as a whole when I asked if he wanted to be banned. It wasn't that he said "fag," it was the whole thing. (Seems he was directing his comments at bbobb. How did you interpret it?) So I made the "Banned Ranger" comment and tacked on the second sentence as an afterthought. The question remains: How hard is it not to say "fag" in every third thread?

I addressed the "Uncle Tom" issue here.

I have kept this board up through some tough financial circumstances and I have asked for little more than posters keeping personal attacks in Fight Club. If you want to pay for this community's upkeep and you want to field all the complaints that come with it, let me know. Otherwise, please respect the two or three requests I make. If you disgree with them, start a thread in Feedback and I will gladly consider your arguments. I make every effort to be reasonable and just.
