frostwolf: hit the nail on the head. see that hero?
The whole point is being nice when it's time to be nice and being a leader when it's time to be a leader. If you're an Assman or a manager, its fine to be nice 95% of the time but there's 5% of the time when you have to step up and lay down the law.
It's also not about that, its about projecting forth an image that says, "do not screw up, Im counting on you".
My old boss at EB had this down to a science. He was and still is a friend of mine, but when I fucked up, I feared his wrath, and because of that, I always worked hard. I also felt like he counted on me so I always did the best job I could (you hear that, Agent X?).
Now, Im just saying this stuff, I dont really have any clue how to actually do it. But I hope to find out soon.
My advice.

I did learn about the problems of moving up the ladder at a job. In my management class we learned about all sorts of stuff like this....cept for the gay flirtings.Quote:

.... hey, is it just me or have these boards gotten really stale in the past months? Its probably just a down cycle but man, its been boring.
i got this one girl that says "im sorry" all the time. somebody else tells her a story about them messing up and she says "im sorry"......its really annoying. plus all my coworkers are between 18-30 but they act like children. i swear and punch my equiptment and they have meetings with the supervisor that it offends them. its like a fucking daycare.Quote:
