And in a perfect world, that would be fine. However when ATT charges you $.61 a minute to roam off these towers, you have some problems. I used to have to call every month to have them fix my bill.Quote:

There was a picture in the NY newspaper showing the coverage of just Cingular and the coverage of Cingular and AT&T combined. There wont be anymore AT&T Wireless. AT&T will have the Cingular name and orange logo..no more baby blue color.Quote:

This may be the truth, but they're a little more expensive than what I want to spend a month. I've also found out that if you want to change plans with Verizon, they make you sign another two-year contract, as opposed to AT&T, which will let you change your plans every month if you so desire.Quote:

I think I've nailed it down to these three plans, all of them national. I tend to go to Orlando a lot and it's not included in the local plans.
At&t
200 anytime minutes
unlimited nights & weekends
roaming charges
$29.99 a month
Cingular
300 anytime minutes
1,000 nights & weekends
roaming charges
$32.97
Verizon
400 anytime
unlimited nights & weekends
no roaming
$39.99
I really don't have a problem with roaming charges, I've looked into the maps and everywhere that I tend to go has service. It looks it's going to be Cingular or At&t for me. (Sorry JMET :p :) )
