Heh. It raises questions and I'd want to know more ;). I'm not suggesting that one photo is all I had to go on for making up my mind on Kerry and why I would run with open arms to Edwards... Kerry used to be my 2nd choice when Joe was still around.Quote:

The full context is that they have different reasons, but it doesn't mean they weren't useful to the Germans is all that says, just like I was useful to Enron by casting my vote. I have to accept consequences for my actions/choices.Quote:

Is it false to say Vietnam anti-war protestors weren't useful to the VietCong? It's not... They were useful. You can scoff at that, but it is truth.
Dear God, I'd honestly believe you'd think that if this were reversed (someone doctoring a photo of Bush to show him doing heroine or something), it'd be all "PWNAGE!!!!1" instead of "LAME REPUBLICAN HAXXOR FAG!"Quote:

Dunno what kinda of primary rules you have in Illinois, but whatever makes you get up and vote for Edwards is OK in my book.[/quote]Quote:

Besides, any sort of slanting like this is weak. Doesn't matter who does it to who.

From your comments apparently the smear campaign is working.
I dunno. I've seen some subliminal pro-liberal things on the BBC.
Like on Telly Tubbies; Tinky Winky is purple, has a triangle antenna, carries a handbag and i've seen him stealthy poke glory holes in the tubby toast.
And, on Bargain Hunt, David Dickson told the "Bargain Hunters" that he had intelligence that there were some really good cheap Wedgewood Marble Dishes (WMD) in the market. They searched everywhere for the dishes but they came up with nothing, some of them yelled at David Disckson for sending them out on false pretenses. But he told them it doesn't matter why they went out there, because they still came back with a set of 16th century Russian Dolls, and a French Silver Serving Plate, so it didn't matter. But the Russian Dolls were actually 20th century knockoffs, and the French Serving Platter was actually Maltese. So they made a huge loss and and took David's sunless tanning bottle off him as punishment.
I heard of that too.
Oh no, sorry. Bush has my vote. Partly due to wanting to see liberals self-destruct and erupt into hysteria when they learn of his win again. Good to bring out and expose that hatred. But, to clarify, I'd rather Bush lose to Edwards. Kerry's likely got the nomination anyhow so it's moot.Quote:

The first 2, I implied no such thing. Orwell isn't calling pacifists "fascists" by stating they're objectively pro-fascist. It means by being useful (tools), they can help advance the cause of fascism - unintended/unwanted consequences of their actions. It doesn't mean they hold the ideology of fascism in their hearts.Quote:

The last one seems valid to me and if we don't handle it right, we'll reap the benefits. That was a valid concern voiced before the war.
