Rez Questions

Why isn't there an official Rez thread? I did a search and the best thread I could find was the Score Attack thread.

Anyway, I started playing it on my DC again last night, and I had some questions about how to unlock stuff, how the scoring system works, what I need to do to get 100% Analyzation in each level, etc. So, I went to GameFAQs and all they have is a secrets FAQ. And, there didn't seem to be an official thread here either.

Wasn't there a bonus available for having a Space Channel 5 save on your VMU? Or, did I just imagine that?

To get 100% Analyzation in each level, you just need to not miss any of those things that count down from eight when you shoot them (the things that put you onto another layer). Get to layer 10 and beat the boss, and there you go.

Well, that's part of my question answered (Thanks Noface), what about the rest?

Certain bonuses are made available for scoring a 100% completion rate for the entirety of any given level, as well as certain individual goals.

Never played the DC version, so I can't offer any help there. I know if you want to unlock stuff, you can play through the game multiple times... there's like different color schemes you can turn on when you play Score Attack I think... among other things, like being able to play as a Morellian from SC5.

I'll sit back and wait for the people who *really* know the game to fill this thread with worthwhile info now :)

you might be thinking of space channel 5 part 2. if you have a rez save, you can unlock a rez costume for ulala.

freaky. I was just playing it this morning for the first time in a long time. I must say I'm still diggin the Rez, on the DC though.

I don't know what he's talking about, he played through Area 1, I wanted to beat his score, then I ended up playing the whole damn game...

I just made it to Area 5 for my first time.

If you have a SC5 Part 2 save it unlocks the Morolian form, likewise a Rez save unlocks a Rez (wire frame) costume for Ulala in SC5 Part 2.

This is for both PS2 and DC version saves?

I think so, I just have the PS2 versions though.

it doesn't seem like US rez save works in the US SC5P2, presumably cos agetec is dumb.
