It's nothing more than a novelty item, and a god damned terrible design decision at that. I'd assume that most people who buy the thing are going to display it and just use the regular controller (the one designed for actual use with Onimusha). Now the Dragon Warrior sword game, THAT did shit right. That thing is class.

I have stopped paying attention to anything Korian says. Furthermore, this thing might be fun to play with, but not for $150. If I'm going to drop $150 on a peripheral then spend $50 on a game, then I'll drop down the cash for Steel Batallion, granted I can still get it.
Paying $70 for a Guitar Freaks controller didn't bother me because it's as close as I could get to bringing the arcade game home without buying a cab. This just seems like something they tacked on to move silly gadgets. That said, I wouldn't doubt it has the potential to be fun. Just not $200 worth of fun.
I'm down with Onimusha 3, though. I'll be grabbing it regardless.
There's no enjoyment that I couldn't get out of that thing by just looking at a photo of it. Saves me $150 and potential living room damage.
I own a display katana so I'll be happy sticking to that.
Does anyone else collect swords?

I have a replica Norseman's sword and a Kukri. Like I've said before, I had a friend who's dad was a swordsmith, and he was going to make me a broadsword with my family's crest on it, but I couldn't front the cash to pay for the materials..So..Meh.Quote:
