Am I the only one excited about arcade perfect Pit Fighter?
Yes, I just played this a bunch and it's definitely worthwhile. The MK's are much better than their SNES, GENESIS, PS1 counterparts.Quote:

Yeah, that really bugged me. They throw in a nice, mature moment and it's killed in a "perfect-port" anniversary edition. Bah on them.Quote:

I got the Xbox version and EVERYTHING seemed just fine to me. All I noticed was the flicking shadows in the MK games and thats it. You can even change the difficulty in some of the games. Good stuff. No framerate problems with Hard Drivin either.
Oh yeah, all the games run in 480P so they wont look like shit on your HDTV's. I was worried about that.
Yeah, as a few other people have said, these are definitely the best home ports of MKII and 3 available, minor issues aside. They're certainly far better than their Saturn and PS1 cousins, as well as the emulation in MAME (which is far from perfect).
Oh, and Dolemite, I got caught up over the weekend but I should have that shipped out sometime soon.
Got my copy today for Xbox and it works fine. Its worth it for a certain titles, but some games are pretty crummy like Krazy Krooz'r. And man Arch-Rivals is a borning and cheesy basketball game, APB is a confusing game to try and just pick up and play for the first time. But man is it GREAT to be able to play arcade perfect Primal Rage and the best ports of MK2 and 3.
That's pretty much how I feel. A bunch of these games suck (Spy Hunter II, I'm looking directly at you), but a few of them (MKII and 3, Primal Rage, Gauntlet II, Xybots, Total Carnage and Rampage World Tour) are fun enough to more than justify the price.
I'd also forgotten how much fun MK3 is. I've played more of it than MKII.
