Dead Phoenix to become Kid Icarus?

An interesting rumour. It's cool if Dead Phoenix gets made after all but I don't want to see the name of an old Nintendo series just slapped on a Capcom game.

It may be true. The main thing with Dead Pheonix was that you could deploy and return ~50 knightlike units in battle at will for what seemed to be distractin purposes, I really didn't think it had any real purpose except to make things a little easier. I think that if they did remove that element, there would really be not much difference if it wa a Kid Icarus game.

But in Kid Icarus you could deploy ~50 knightlike units to distract the bosses...

This would make me smile....

You could? I quit Kid Icarus mid game because I found it boring. One of the things I don't like telling people. :)

Mh, maybe I should complete the game I talk about before opening my yap. :/

Dead Phoenix is not how I would have imagined Kid Icarus in 3D at all... so I hope this isn't the case.

Obviously it'd be reworked but still... let Nintendo do an original one if anything.

I suggest you give it a try!! Kid Icarus is a great game; and unlike Metroid, it hasn't aged beyond playability ;)

This rumor concerns me. I do not think I like it.

I guess all we can do is wait and see.

I haven't finished the original either, but now that I think about it, it might be about time I do so.

Well, Capcom has been known to do some wierd shit...
