We had Big Red at Hop N' Shop when I worked there (convienience store in Iowa). That stuff realllly tastes like shit, the one gulp I ever took was cactus up the ass painfull.

I would have to debate on how acurately the drink that I mentioned, Sprite Remix, turly follows its said tropical origins. The damn stuff tatses like Skittles to me...
I think it could become a wild card for your project. At its origin, it pormotes a zesty pinnaple and stawberry tatse. But in the end, your left with a sugery after effect, similar to candy.
So in your describtion, anything that follows a fruity savor is classified as a fruit drink.
But the things that we call candy mostly deal with having a fruit savor as well.
Could you please describe what traits or flavors you expect candy flavored things to follow and maybe we could be of more help.
