Review: R-Type Final
I remember how impressed I was the first time I saw R-Type. It was in the back of a local taco stand. I didn't have many quarters to spend on it, but I intended to beat it someday.
Today, I still haven't beaten the first game in the series, but I am enjoying the hell out of the last. It's thirty dollars brand-new, it has intense action, commendable replay value, beautiful effects, and over a hundred customizable ships. I'm not sure it tops the first Gradius, but it almost definitely tops any action game you've played this month.
Don't believe me? Let's ask James.

I've played Shikigami no Shiro 2 this month. R-type Final doesn't top it. :p

Holy crap.... an opinion at a gaming site, what a suprise! :p
Anyways, good review for someone not know what to expect from a R-Type game (which there are a shocking # of).
