all of things you mentioned were IN deadly alliance. if you spent any time with that title instead of jumping into this one and declaring these so called "faults" as NEW discoveries is just absurd.
mortal kombat has NEVER had any two in ones. there were two hit combos(ie...jumpkick, flying kick with liu kang) that have been in this series since it's inception, but capcom-esque 2in1s just dont exist in this series.Quote:
First of all, there are still no 2-in-1 combos, a staple of pretty much every 2D fighting game in existence and, as I recall, even of the original Mortal Kombat games.
so if this game didnt have projectiles it would be considered 3d? cmon now. this isnt a 2d fighter. if it was the opp's would never sidestep and there would be no ability to roll away or towards the screen after being knocked down. trying to classify this title as a 2d game is also just plain retarded. if this is 2d, then so is VF. i dont care where this game got it's roots, it's now evolved into a 3d fighter and you need to just fucking accept it.Quote:
And to anyone that would argue that MK: Deception (or Deadly Alliance) isn't a 2D game, I'd argue otherwise. The only thing that 3D movement adds to the game is making projectiles completely useless, another nasty flaw in the gameplay.
for the love of god dont follow in the steps of the other retads at ign. this is mortal kombat. not street fighter. this isnt 2d. it's 3d. after realizing this your opinion will actually be worth a damn.
OMGWTFGOTYBBQZOE2ROFL!
edit: i have no problem blaming your skills. reason being? you are far more adept at capcom games than you have ever been in any mortal kombat(which is fairly apparent after reading your "complaints").
pulling off commands and juggles in MK is far different from doing any magneto combo in MvC2(they both take skill, but just different kinds...one of which you are severely lacking) as MK has always had it's own "flow" and "feel" that is very different from other fighting game titles
