And the sound in my copy is noticeably low, I have to turn the sound up a ton to be able to hear anything, I wonder if it's just my copy?

But anyways, this game is awesome, out of the 20 or so minutes I've played. Definately an awesome purchase.

So far, I've played on The Pit, knocked a guy straight onto a spike, fought Noob Smoke (holy shit they made that into such a good idea), and Konquest mode is a THIRD PERSON ADVENTURE instead of just connect the dots.

It fucking RULES. Except unlocking pictures of the staff in the krypt is pretty gay.

I called FuncoLand and EB and they both said they haven't "processed their shipment yet." Come on guys, it's Tuesday! I don't get games day 1 often, so I like to be able to do it without having to call 10x to see when they're finally ready to sell it to me.

I'm going to get mine right now. You guys want to play on Live any time today?
Tuesday is my day off so let me know.

lol, my EB was processing the shipment (I guess that's what he was doing, he taking stuff out and entering it into the computer), and after he punched in the number he gave me my copy at 10 am.

Konquest mode still kicks all sorts of ass.

My Gamestop didn't have my Kollectors Edition in that I preordered, so I just got the regular one, and the guy is gonna let me return it tomorrow for the good one.

I've seen Mog on there, but I haven't played anything outside of Konquest yet, so I haven't challenged him.

The I-Guide sucks by the way.

Blockbuster got their games in too, which was a pleasant surprise. Gotta hit up Gamefaqs for a move list. After about 20 minutes of arcade play it's a lot of fun. Baraka killed himself when I beat him, that was a surprise. I gotta say though, it doesn't feel like the moves "flow" together. It feels very jerky and it could be faster.

lol so far in the krypt I've seen human Reptile and Sheeva running around :eek:

I thought maybe it was just something funny, but I've also seen Tanya and Sindel, it makes me wonder...

And damn this Sindel match on Konquest is impossible, because I fucking hate Bo Rai Cho so much,

I guess they got the feel of the original Mortal Kombats down perfectly in 3D.

I played online for a few matches against some guy. Lag free so far. I lost pretty much every time but its really cool. I sent Korly a invite but he didnt want to play :( I got the Kollectors edition for Xbox. Pretty packaging. The extra disc just comes in a little sleeve and there really isnt shit on it. The video is only like 10 mins long. Oh well, MK 1 is great! Everything seems to be there, but theres no difficulty select!! Its nice and cheap like the arcade game really was! Beat one or 2 guys, get your ass handed to you by the next. Good thing its on Free Play. I think I got the only Kollectors edition at my EB and the worker there said they didnt even get the Kollectors games for PS2. Hooray for me!

I've also enjoyed the cheesy storylines of MK over the years and this game fits that nicely.

I wish more companies would do limited edition like this. Its not a big deal for most people but I like it. Halo 2 tin will be mine next.
