Beautiful SoCal

It's too damn hot. Fuck this. I want my 70 and light breeze back.

I'm loving it in SD right now. Feels like summer. Its perfect after having the rains about a week ago.

With all the news on TV lately about the sub zero weather and snow that the east coast and upstate NY areas are experiencing, we shouldn't forget that Southern California has it's share of devastating weather also. Is that e-mail kidding? Southern California has mudslides, flash flooding, earthquakes, droughts, and every once in a while it spontaneously bursts into flame. Snowstorms aren't "devastating", they're cold - no one's neighborhood gets reduced to ash in a Northeast snowstorm.

If I could move my job to the Northeast, I would.

I was watching some news show this morning, and during it, the newscasters and the weatherman were gloating about the weather. Who the fuck gloats about the weather? It's not like it's some special secret benefit Southern California has that no one else knows about - you live here because you don't like cold, Northeasterners live in the Northeast because they like seasons, trees, not being constantly choked by urban sprawl, and not having to worry about being swallowed up by a hole in the ground. It's like gloating about having a red car with a bunch of other red car owners.

So....will I need a jacket when I come to (SoCal) in two and a half weeks?
