It seems like Miami has taken a real interest in keeping watch over gang-ban...er hip-hoppers activities for quite some time now.
I wonder how safe 50 cent must really feel...

If they did this for all celebrities I would be all in favor of Big Brother.
They did this to Hendrix and other well known groups before. Death Row was also under investigation by the FEDS.
You see that pic of 50 Cent with the article? Any douche dressed like that has to be used to being gawked at.
This is nothing new, back under the J. Edgar Hoover days nearly every celebrity was under FBI surveillance at one time or another. This is clearly a case of unjust profiling that has yet to even produce any results. If I were a Floridian I'd personally perfer my tax dollars be spent on something more prudent.

Why shouldn't they be kept under surveillance? People in the hip-hop entertainment industry basically make their living by boasting about various laws they break. If somebody other than a rapper publicly admits to stealing and weapons posession and won't shut up about his adventures in the land of illegal narcotics, I would hope someone would keep an eye on him, too. Look, they may make for some nice tunes, but I'm sick of the "we're above the law" image. They're a bad influence, and if saying that makes me an enemy of free speech, so be it.
