Even with all of China's people, as it stands now they would get their asses horribly kicked in a war with us, and I think it'll be that way for some time. They don't have the tank technology and considering we can match most of their air force with a single carrier group shows how lacking their air force is. Mass amounts of people doesn't mean what it did fifty years ago, lots of tanks and planes helps but technology can make a HUGE differance and considering China is still using Soviet-Era equipment they're a little bit behind the loop.

China has only recently developed ICBM technology (basically the ability to launch nukes at any point in the world) and all of their silos are bunched together. Half of their missiles are aimed at Russia, the other half at the US (the probably have about 10-15 missiles). They may have a lot of people but what's 100 Chinese with Type 56 rifles going to do to an M1A2 Abrams? Damien said something about 8 Soviet Era tanks/planes equaling one of our tanks/planes. You are aware that just because they have more people doesn't mean they have more tanks and planes? We have way more of both, and much better of each. Their anti-tank weapons (Soviet Era RPGs) barely put dents in the depleted uranium armor of the new Abrams. Maybe if we fought them in strictly an infantry battle they would win, but there is no way in hell they can win a conventional war with us, I don't care how much people they have, just gives our guys more people to shoot due to their old technology.
