Loosing Andy was a sad moment. But he should have held the gun when he went to get the dog, and be alerted. But I guess he was weakened by hunger at that time, and it makes it even sadder to loose him when he was so close to be saved.

I would have been shooting them all the live long day, or tossing molotov cocktails on them, thin them out a bit.

He was holding a gun, you can hear the gunshots happen as soon as they started coming through the doggy door, but they all rushed the door too fast for him to even know wtf was happening.

Plus you can also see when the rest of them go there to save him, there's blood and bullet casings all over the floor.

Again, Thats why that scene is so sad. They were so close to helping him to it end like that. And then Red head teen goes on the run to save the dog, even when she knows that zombies dont care about animals whatsoever.

Speaking of which. What if you dress up in animal costume, will zombies actually react to you? :)

... I've read about that somewhere and I can't remember where.

I wanted the zombies to shred the dog right in front of everyone as soon as it was let down. Either that or I wanted the dog to start running towards Andy's building and another truck full of survivors plow through and splatter the dog along with some zombies all across the pavement. Another change I would have made was Andy's death situation. I wanted to see the zombies break through and then Andy go all Helm's Deep/Remember the Alamo on those motherfuckers. Like he blasts a couple dozen of them before they force him into the roof, then the entire cast has to watch him get ripped to shreds atop the gun store without being able to do anything about it.

Just got back from the theaters, fucking awesome. :)

But the problem with these zombies is that they wont rip poor Andy into shreds. They will bite him a little and then all of them will go out to have a party.
