I suddenly realized I was humming Resurrection, the U-1/Zowie battle tune, so I popped Gitaroo Man in for a replay. Deciding I was glutton for punishment, the first thing I did was go to Legendary difficulty and try to get through Flyin' To Your Heart, at which point I promptly got my ass handed to me four times running.
After that I wandered over to Flyin' To Your Heart (normal), then Born to be Bone through to the end of the game, then back to Void and Nuff Respect, just because. By then I was done but decided to give Flyin' one more go on Legendary. I still haven't beaten it, but at least I got further that time. Maybe someday...
All that rambling is leading up to this- Gitaroo Man is possibly one of my favorite games, and I think it has all it needs to be one of those timeless games I'll be able to pop out years from now and still have a great time with. I keep almost every game I buy, but once I'm done with them I'm usually done for good.
Now all I need is a controller with a thumbpad that doesn't get sweaty/slippery and I might be able to really go to town on some of those songs.
