CTR is a lotta fun as is Crash 2. I remember one Christmas my next door neighbor got a PlayStation and a copy of Crash 2 for X-Mas. Unfortunatly his parents weren't smart enough to get a memory card and so we spent the day playing through the game without saving.
Crash himself is a good character, but every other character created in those games are so damn lame. Vivendi Universal sucks, and they are just riding Crash until somehow the character literally dies.
I never liked Crash because I hate Naughty Dog because I hate Jason Reubin...
By the time ND stopped developing Crash games, I still had no interest...
CTR is very good... Jeremy's right, it feels totally different from a Mario Kart. I enjoyed it.
I was kinda hoping for an Olsen Twin cameo when I read the title :(
Maybe next year.

OK, everyone seems to agree, with few exceptions. I'll see if I can't pick up a copy of Crash 2 and CTR. I should be able to find them on the cheap.
Thanks, guys.
Playing through Crash Wrath of Cortex on Xbox at the moment (thanks to my 5 year old) and I have to say it's the weakest of the bunch (except for the awful Crash Bash, of course). It has >< personality and some severe crash detection/camera issues.
The 2nd crash is the best of the bunch.
What the Hell is ">< personality?"
I thought it was like an ascii version of holding your fingers up to indicate a very tiny amount.
