I saw it at EB's new for $10. Never seen or played it. Is it a worthy game?

IT'S NOT WORTHY, IT'S NOT WORTHY.
Sorry about that, had to make the cheap Wayne's World joke.
The game is great, for $10. It's got some nice, fast gameplay.
It's a really good game. Definitely worth the 10$ purchase. Which reminds me that I've still haven't finished the game myself.
Well, let me be the sole voice of negativity. Sub-30 framerate, poor camera and just plain unintelligent game design (how is there no targeting feature???) equal $10 I wouldn't mind getting back.
At first it's neat how the first level tune is a remix of the NES game's first level tune... then you get disgusted when you realize the original rendition was better. : )
I'd say read my "So Bad It's Good" thread, but I can do a quick recap here: Crappy game that I found fun as hell, buy it!
BenT: Yes, the original music was better, but I honestly just didn't mind it in BM:BA. Of course, I somehow managed to actually tune out the extreme amounts of loading, which I'm still not sure how I do (I normally despise large loading like that, especially sprinkled so throughly).
Yeah, it wasn't that bad (music). It's just the overall package that I don't want to ever play again. : )
Yay.
I wonder why you're questioning a $10 purchase. Not the gambling type?
Well, $10 here and there adds up. I really do spend too much on games so I'm trying to restrain a little.
Aren't there two Blaster Master games on the PSX how's the other one if it was not mentioned?
Korian
Is this the original NES version that has been put into a collection on PSX? Or is this the "newer, better" version?
A "newer, better" version. 3D sequel.
you're better off with the genesis blaster master... :p
It's average. I guess you really can't go wrong with $10.
I just got this game yesterday at my local target for $4.90, WELL worth it, I say :) It was a good day for me, I got that at Target, and then went to EB and got Driver for $7.99 and Pitball (I'm a sucker for 4 player games) for $2.99.
Yeah, it's a fun little treat at $10.
I bought it, played it once or twice, decided it wasn't Blaster Master, and traded it. I was a huge fan of the original, but this one is average at best.
