Fucking hilarious.
LOL@Boar killing montage
Probably one of the funniest episodes of South Park I've seen in a while.
This makes me wanna play some WoW.
But, what were they doing fighting another Alliance character in Goldshire and Arathi anyway?
That was the greatest episode of anything ever.

My friend called me during the episode and asked "So wait, if you die in WoW, do you have to create a new character or something?" It was a funny episode, but I think they might have aimed for too narrow of an audience.
I was said audience so I dont give a fuck.
I dunno, my dad thought it was pretty funny...aside from some of the technical shit.
lol @ people citing technical inaccuracies in the episode
congrats you are the fat old guy!
*
I thought it was pretty accurate how a lot of MMO people (larpers/dnd players/boardgame geeks/etc/etc) act.
Mr.-K, if you want to see an MMORPG-heavy show with more broad humor, there's a Kim Possible episode that you might want to watch called "Vir-Tu-Ron".
Hilarious episode. I'm not even a WoW player, either.
not a WoW player, but know a few.
good episode
Mzo is fat now because of WoW. Just like the kids in south park.
It will be the end of the world. Of Warcraft. He could have been using an Orb of Deception. ZOMG NERDQuote:

Next time I log on I'm going to be guildless, I just know it.
Damn it, I forgot the new season started tonight!
That was a very cool episode but I thought for sure they would do something with Mel Gibson again after his events this past summer. The best part was when the Blizzard guys went to Stan's house and asked for "Loves to Spooge"
I've unfortunately seen this question posted a lot of other places too. It's depressing because in the first five minutes they explain that this guy has leveled to a point where he is more powerful than the game itself and can do whatever he wants, and the developers are like "you can't kill other players, you just do quests!"
Like always, Randy made the episode great.
Classic. Good on Blizz for having a sense of humor. For those that missed it -
Part 1
Part 2
Part 3
Dunno how long these'll be up.
I've never played Wow but this gave me the strange desire too.
One of the best episodes Matt and Trey have ever made.
Thanks, Detour. I can't watch TV in my house, so this works great.
Fucking fantastic, too. It ACTUALLY sounds like the boring, non-RF Vent parties all the videos show. HAH.
Yeah, it really does sound like that when you join other people's channels.
We usually play Disney songs and make racist and sexist comments until all the girls leave for their own lesbian channel :) :)
Didn't two of you beatrices start singing?
Cartman dropped a few bombs (literally).
"Wouldn't you stand up and try and take down Hitler? I mean, I wouldn't, I think he was pretty cool, but..."
Heh, I remember when kids would crap in the urinal in school.
that episode was terrible.
It was okay, not terrible as it was kind of "meh." Terrible is the Pip episode or the Towlie one from earlier this season.
die, both of you..
best SP episode in a long time.
Seriously, that was fucking GREAT.
I didn't say it was bad, I just didn't think it was outstanding. I loled several times throughout, especially with Kyle's "Really?................ Really?!"s.
should have ended with the kids killing the PKer by themselves, and Randy killing everyone in game with the uber sword as the credits rolled.
Props for the Leeroy bit after credits.
Tonight's episode was pretty good, the Dog joke is about a year late, but the plot about the teacher having sex with Ike was pretty funny. The men's reactions to hearing about the hot teacher fucking a student reminded me of TNLs reaction to these stories.
Niicceeeeeeeeeee
Funny.
Reminded me of a dream where I hit some 15 year old chick last night...it was pretty hot...
Biggie Smalls, Biggie Smalls.............................. Biggie Smalls
I agree but I thought for sure they would have had Gacy dressed up like a clown for Halloween.
Cartman wants a Wii, for those who missed it.
lol sea otters.
I think I see where they're going, and I don't really agree too much. To say that atheists would be just as bad because they'd fight over 'levels of atheism' shows a lack of understanding of the concept of atheism. There is no real proselytizing aspect to atheism, so alluding that factions of it would fight for supremacy does not really make sense. Even the real Dawkins, who admittedly thinks that all sane people should be atheists doesn't threaten the lives of those who aren't.
Garrison's take on evolution was funny though.
I kind of agree with g0zen. Essentially what it is saying is that atheism and science are simply replacements for religion. Many people think this but the truth is far from it. However, I do agree with the sentiment pretty much. No matter what the divisive force is people will find reason to fight each other.
edit: never the less, otters are cute AND funny.
Do you really have to look into that much. On the base level it's an episode that makes fun of atheists ala the dozens of other SP that make fun of religions. Nothing more, nothing less.
Right, I think it was more a look on human nature itself thatn just atheism. What they were getting at is that people are going to find a way to kill each other no matter what, which makes sense to me.
Overall though, it was a pretty funny episode, but I'm not usually a big fan of their two parters, they always seem like they got a great and didn't have the heart to trim any of it down. They seem bloated I guess.
"I will smash your skull like a clam on my belly"
g0zen, I <3 you and all, but it's just South Park.
Garrison explaining evolution had me laughing uncontrollably. Good half episode.
Sure, but its valid to actually talk about the topic South Park brings up. I mean, despite the fact that show doesn't take itself too seriously, it is the most biting, topical and effective satire in America. The show and the creators definitely have a pretty well defined point of view. Almost all the comedy these guys do is rich with social and political context. South Park works on a simple layer of humor (dick jokes) but it is deeper than that too.
maybe, but you have to understand that south park has been inaccurate in how it showed the various religions as well, its a funny show, and it does have social satire, but i wouldnt consider it as informative as people make it out to be. I know the catholic episode had a large number of inaccuracies, both in how small details were presented, which were understandable, and how major underpinnings of doctrine were presented, which undercut the auhority of the satire. and lets be honest, athiesm has been used as a justification for surpressing religions in the past, the chinese cultural revolution, enver hoxha's campaign in albania, stalinist russia, one shoudlnt assume that its somehow bloodless.
1. Learn to use periods. That is the biggest run on sentence ever.
2. Satires don't really need to present accurate information (often they are enhanced by not). Satire is not a source of information, it is a critical commentary on various things through humor. It is made for those already informed or at least aware. It provokes discussion, which South Park does pretty well (although they do seem to be getting more and more didactic over the years). If you are saying it is just some jokes then you really are not getting it.
I was kind of responding to both you and gozen, so the mesage got jumbled, and i have made longer run on sentences, sadly. But what i was saying is that if you are doing a satire of a topic, you should try to be basicly representing what you are doing a parody of. gozen thought they misrepresented athiesm, and i was responding it was not the only phillosphy that they had done that too, and not to be so upset about it. And of course I had to jump on the topic of wether athiesm has ever threatened the lives of those who dont beleive it, now didnt i?
as for wether its just jokes, i never meant that, there are very few forms of comedy where jokes are just jokes. but, as with any source of satire, you have to consider the source and decide if they have done a satire of what they were actually aiming at, or wether they were just showing their ignorance of the topic.
I was commenting on the subtext of the episode, if that's somehow off-topic then I'll drop it. But, first, I have to respond to one thing:
Just because revolutionary Marxist movements are violent toward religion and atheistic doesn't reflect on all atheism. There is nothing inherent about atheism that says that all those who reject it must be killed, suppressed, etc. Why you decided to bring this up is beyond me.
I'm not upset, I just said I didn't agree with it is all.
No, you really didn't.
I'm a total pinko too, but dayum g0zen. Who pissed in your bran muesli with soya milk and sliced organic pawpaw? You've been rabid this week.
Just go knife some SUV tires and free some factory poultry and came back to us much happier.
Just for the record. Atheism is just as much faith as religion is. You have to truly believe that there is no god. This is just as much religion as christianity. Agnosticism is the shit that us bastards who really don't give a shit for faith go with.
Not really, no.
Actually agnosticism alone is just a misuse of terminology by college students who don't want to admit that they're atheists. The truth of the matter is that there is a continuum, let me plot it out for you:
Gnostic theist - I KNOW a God exists
Agnostic theist - I BELIEVE that God exists but I have no direct knowledge of this existence
Agnostic atheist - I BELIEVE that God does not exist but I have no direct knowledge of this lack of existence.
Gnostic atheist - I KNOW God does NOT exist
Most atheists (including myself) fall into the category of agnostic atheist. Mostly because we reject the idea of absolute knowledge. To be sure there are those who just flatly disbelieve in God, but most of the time their arguments are just as fallacious as those who absolutely believe. Those who believe in science or scientific naturalism don't discount out of hand the concept that God or anything supernatural exists, but they feel confident in saying they don't due to the lack of evidence. That isn't faith, in fact it is the very antithesis of it.
I'm not 'rabid' at all, I'm engaging in discussion. Just because people don't like my arguments doesn't make them any less valid.
you excluded agnostic nontheist
You don't say:
http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/agnostic
I think you're pulling bullshit here.
yeah, fuck education, that shit never makes a difference when forming arguments!
LOL, nice personal attack. Actually, the joke isn't mine. It was said originally by Penn Jillette when someone made the exact same argument to him. Though he phrased it as 'agnosticism is what college students say they are so they can pray before exams'.
Also, if you actually read Huxley (which if you want to claim yourself as being an agnostic you should) you'd see that he essentially says that being an agnostic means only that you do not commit to an ultimate answer to the single ultimate question, but can incline toward one or the other (like I said above).
EDIT: Oh and before you all jump on me let's try to remember it was bbobb who came in here with his nose held high and essentially called me an idiot for being an atheist first.
For those of you wondering what the Eric Cartman 2546 intro was parodying, wonder no more.
And the intro from South Park.
Come on, it had Erin Grey in form fitting space outfits.
and twiggy.
Best sci-fi show ever.
I liked it a lot a long time ago. But that was a long time ago.
The free HD episode of South Park I got from the 360 Marketplace had a message stating that tonight is the season premiere of another South Park season, which is good because I wasn't aware that the new season was starting so soon.
Yeah, new seasons of South Park always sneak up on me-- I saw a spot for tonight's episode, looks pretty funny. Last season was pretty good with only a handful of crappy episodes, so my hopes are pretty high.
This show delivers, time and time again.
God Damn Naggers, ruin everything.
lol Last night's was great. I loved Cartman running around yelling race war!
I agree that last night was pretty good, Cartman endlessly laughing at the midget never really got old. And the Wheel of Fortune bit with N_GGERS was pretty good... especially because I would have probably done the same thing.
I laughed when they were before congress, talking about how "nigger" and "guy" on their own are no big deal, but put together they become hateful slander
I can't find the WoW episodes anymore.
I feel bad.
The first black person I saw today on the way to class, I started laughing and just thought how annoying the guy must be. Damn you ,South Park.
"Cartman Sucks".
This weeks episode was awesome. I don't want to ruin anything so watch it and come back here so we can talk about it.
Who would have thought South Park would have gotten out more seasons before going downhill than The Simpsons?
You didn't like the episode?
Frog's a jew.
and a spoonfart
