I say Clones because I believe TH set the bar for great Skateboarding games. Can anyone think of any Skateboarding game that surpasses the TH series or is on the level or halfway decent?
Thanks

i always thought of tony hawk as a clone of skate or die, but without the dying.
Well, Matt Hoffman is okay, but it's nothing more than the THPS1 engine with the manual slapped on to it.
I've only played Shaun Palmer's Pro Snow Boarder for a little bit, but it seemed like fun.
I did not like Grind Sesson.
Trasher sucks.
MTV Skateboarding is like genital warts, only in video game form.
And probably my favorite clone: Razor Free Style Scooter (DC), if you can get this game for $10 or under, please do so. What it lacks in depth and length, it makes up in fun and personality
Dave Mirra is really good and addicting only $9.99 at Best Buy. Regus I have Razor Freesyle Scoter I actually like some of the music and the level in the sky.Quote:

Do you have the DC version? Titanium Studios did an amazing job on the port, the game runs and sounds amazing.
Heh, and I never could into the Mirra games, there's just something wrong with them that I just can't place my finger on.
Oh yeah:
Espn Skate Boarding for PS2 is lack luster.
Yeah Regus the music on DC Razor Scooter was above average.
Actually I liked Thrasher more than Tony Hawk 1. Though, I don't really think it is a clone. Thrasher is much more realistic.
The only clone that I can think of that isn't made by the makers of the Tony Hawk series is Dave Mirra BMX and Agressive Inline. For skateboard, outside of fun oldies like 720 and Skate or Die, there really isn't a good substitute for Tony Hawk. I was really bored with part 3, but part 4 sounds REALLY fun.
Aggresive Inline is an amazing game, and really gives THPS a run for it's money. I highly suggest you check it out.
Well, my friend has an unhealthy addiction to Street Sk8er.
...I don't know if that means anything, or is even remotely interesting, but it's true.
