I have no idea in the least. I'm assuming she is friends with the leader and just ate her way in. Because that's all she is really good at anymore.Quote:

Hehehe I think it's funny that Red Sox fans keep INSISTING that this was the greatest comeback evar!!!!!, the greatest moment in sports history or whatever. There have only been 25 teams ever down 3-0, it's not like you're the first team out of a thousand to come back. Less teams were ever down 3-0 than the Yankees have Championships. And all of those teams down 3-0 were vastly inferior to the other team, you were the favorite.
If the Yankees choke away the first 3 games of the ALCS next year to the Twins, only to start playing well and win the series as they should, will that then be tied as the greatest comeback in sports history? It's so silly, "IT'S NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE!!!!". The only team to ever blow a 14 game lead in mid august was the Red Sox, to the Yankees. That was a much tougher feat, required winning a lot more games. Should Yankee fans now proclaim that "THE GREATEST COMEBACK EVARR!!!!"?
It was a nice comeback and a nice win, congratulations, let's not start going crazy and put an ALCS in the same league with previous Red Sox World Series collapses, let alone every other collapse in sports history. Face facts, the 2004 Yankees were not a great team, their pitching was awful. You didn't come back against the O'Neill, Cone, Wells, Petitte, great Yankees. I'm definately embarassed, but not just because we lost this series. I'm embarassed that guys like Kevin Brown were starting meaningful postseason games for the Yankees. I'm embarassed that this was our team in the first place. A microcosm of the whole thing: Game 5, it's 4-2 Yankees in the eighth. The great Yankee teams pitch Jeff Nelson, Mike Stanton, get the ball to Mariano and series over. The 2004 Yankees have a guy who was literally puking in the bullpen from nerves during in the game, Tom Gordon, come in for the 8th.

I bitched after last year on here, and put up with your patronzing bullshit, The whole, "Your not a real baseball fan crap." I'm sorry if you can't accept the fact that your Yankee team lost (lord knows I had the decency to just stop talking about it after the first day of fighting, cause I knew I had nothing more to say), one of your players played without an ounce of class, and the Media in NY is coming down hard on the team. It will not change the fact that you choked against the greatest chokers in the world, and you did it in a way that had never been done before.
My point is if we don't do it this year, then whatever, because we no longer have a complex about going through NY to get it done. They Yankee's don't have an edge anymore, not psychologically, not theoretically. I don't know what amazes me more about you, the fact that you can't accept the loss, or the fact that you can't understand why it means the world to us.
And about the flipping cars and shit, what can I say? There are retards in Boston, and most of them don't know or care the first thing about sports (look at the patriots win bullshit). It sucks. Its poor. The girl never shoudl have died.
But those people aren't Red Sox fans. Just like the fans who file out of Yankee stadium before a game is over aren't Yankee fans.

But what can I say, your a Yankee fan, you trivialize everything that your team doesn't accomplish.
I'm sorry do you wanna dig up babe ruth, mickey mantle, get clemens and petitte back cause it was unfair?Quote:

This was your team. They were good enough to win 100+ games. Good enough to beat the Twins pitching. It takes nothing away from the victory at all. Why don't we just go dig up Ted Williams, Carlton Fisk, and do it your way?
Would that help? I was sickened by the greed on every Red Sox team before 2003. Doesn't mean I bailed on em, your bailing on your own team because they aren't the 2000 team. That goes a long way in showing your commitment.
So I'll just assume what your saying is even though we beat the Yankee's, we didn't beat the Yankee's.
Good stuff. Spo, keep babbling.

Get your facts straight.
I leave every game in the 8th, regardless of score. Traffic out of the Stadium after the 9th is just too horrid, gotta get out before that. And now I get to go sit in traffic on my way to work for 40 mins. Good Riddance.Quote:

Add to that the fact that of the teams in the LCSs, the Yankees had the worst batting order too. All-Star team my ass. The Yankees had only one thing on their side this year, mystique.Quote:

If you wanna continue living in your Yankee perfect fantasy world, I'm sure people are selling em on Ebay right now.
But because this is still all so confusing for you let me show you in picture form, why and how you lost.
