I saw a hairy bum banging on a milk jug, that count? :\Quote:

Yeah, the good guys won. I hope Steinbrenner freaks, fires everyone, and consigns the Yankees to five or six years of headlong suckitude.Quote:

Behold the cap and fleece that killed the Yankees. I had been looking for them for weeks, found them Sunday, and watched the last four games wearing them.
They'll be in Cooperstown with Schilling's sock.
Awesome awesome win! I'm really happy for you Sox fans! It's unfortunate that the Astros couldn't clinch today, for the sake of resting. But you don't see Munro start and not expect the worst. All things considered, we should have been destroyed in this game 6. Game 7 will be a diffrent story with the Rocket on the mound. The only satisfaction I would have gotten from the Yankees winning is the chance to let Clemens beat the team he ditched for us.
Finally. Finally I can say it. I didn't give up hope when so many others did...
I told you so.
I don't hate the Yankees anymore. There's nothing left to hate. They're just another team now.
There's no more Yankee magic. No more ghosts, no more "mystique and aura." Sure the Boss will raise hell and misspend another hundred million. And the Yanks will still be a good team. They just won't be the only team anymore.
Last year Yankee fans claimed the WS didn't matter because they beat the Sox. Now they'll say getting beat by the Sox doesn't matter if the Sox don't win the WS. But the point is they've been reduced to hating, just like the rest of the baseball world. The focus simply isn't on the Yankees anymore.
Unless we're talking about the worst collapses ever.
So go on and hate, Yankee fans. You finally have a reason.

My question is...what is the nickname for this going to be?
I'll go with "the Boston Massacre" or the derivative "Bronx Massacre."

Boston Fans are going to Teabag every Yankee fan they can find, thus we'll have the Boston Tea Party.
