here's the personal opinion of a female, also one in the situation ^.^
my boyfriend is 24. I'm 16.
most of you are probably going to say "okay....thats just wrong" and the like.
first of all, he didnt know how old i was until after he got to know me a little better. ^^ (THATS NOT WHAT I MEANT SICKOS!!!)
I meant that how we met was well........different. we met on a forum, and we just totally clicked. I've never felt this way about a guy that i do with him, and I love him to death. We are far away from each other (He's in north carolina, I'm in CA) but we have been faithfully together for a year and a half now =D (I havent seen him since last E3 though......;_; i miss him horribly)
we talk to each other twice a day for hours at a time....and well even though the sex thing hasnt come up for awhile.....^^;;; (believe me....i miss him in more ways than one)
I am totally 10000% okay with it. I KNOW what I'm doing. I am consenting, I trust him. I honestly wouldnt care if he was 34 or 44 or whatever, I love him, and thats all that matters to me.
I'm not saying every 16 year old should run out and sexxor up and older guy, because a lot of 16 year olds ARENT ready. I know that personally I couldnt stand having a guy so close to my age, unless it was a true true exception. anyone I've ever "gone for" was older than me. I dont fit in well with people my age, nor do i really want to.
anyway, in closing...
-Not every 16/17 year old is ready and willing. But if you trust them, and they trust you, I think the end result pretty much is the same whether they are 18 or not.
believe me guys, 16 is a tough age to be for a girl ;) especially a cute one ^.^;
