I need something to be able to set download off of ftp servers. Most of the ones I have accesses to only let you down load at one time. Is there anything I could get that I could set to download an entire folder, file by file, so I can go do other things with out haveing to tell the machine file by file what to download?
Also, I get serious freeze up when something gets done downloading. I'm using Firefox. Anyone know why it is doing this?

I ended up using Cyberduck, which does everything I need it to upload wise. Don't know if it'd work for your need, or if there's even a PC version, but it's a nice little free program.
I just updated the old webpage with "WSftp". I'm pretty sure it's free.I checked, and it let me copy a folder... so uh, yeah, I guess that's good to know in case you want two ftp programs for whatever reason.
SmartFTP is pretty cool too.
FileZilla is what I use.
FileZilla is also awesome. The only thing it's missing from what I use, LeapFTP, is the ability to remotely edit files (it's not really a remote edit, it's more of a "download to your temp directory, modify, re-upload all in one step.) But LeapFTP hasn't been updated in ages and it's only shareware.
